Wie Olav Stein zeichnet auch Uwe Groß eine durch Technologieeinsatz eher dystopische Welt. Sie ist bevölkert von grotesken Formen und surrealen Wesen, die halb Tier, halb Plastikobjekt zu sein scheinen. In dieser künstlichen Wirklichkeit kommt Natur nur noch als Zitat und Versatzstück vor. Hierauf spielen auch die Bildtitel Logisches Löschen an: Der IT-Begriff bezeichnet eine Methode, nach der Daten als gelöscht markiert werden, jedoch im System erhalten bleiben – so, wie auch die Natur in den Bildern von Groß nicht eliminiert, sondern mit Artefakten überschrieben wird.

Like Olav Stein, Uwe Groß also depicts a rather dystopian world through the use of technology. It is populated by grotesque forms and surreal beings that appear to be half animal, half plastic object. In this artificial reality, nature appears only as a quotation or set piece. The titles of the pictures, Logisches Löschen (Logical deletion), also allude to this: the IT term refers to a method whereby data is marked as deleted but remains in the system – just as nature in Groß's pictures is not eliminated but overwritten with artefacts.
